Jhoom Barabar Jhoom

When South India was celebrating Sivaji, North India definitely, has got a reason to celebrate. Its none other than Jhoom Barabar Jhoom, a simply superb comedy flick from Yashraj films.

Before I was going to watch movie, I read a sneak peak introduction of the movie and I thought it as another Kabhi Alvida Na Kehna with Abhishek / Amitabh / Yashraj joining together while Bobby Deol replaces Sharukh Khan. But I was completely wrong and the movie proves to be one of the best comedy Film in Bolly wood.

Rikki Thukral (Abhishek Bachchan) and Alvira Khan (Preity Zinta) meets each other in a busy station at London while waiting to receive their respective lover/fiance (Lara Dutta and Bobby Deol) . Their train gets delayed for a two hours unfortunately. They started talking with each other, to kill their time which ends up in finding love between themselves.
Is their love Crazy? Will this new love supersedes their old love? is the pairs going to be mixed up like Kabhi Alvida Na Kehna climax? ..
These question were answered in the next half of the story with the Final Twist which is a Midas Touch to the Story.. Thanks to Amithab.

Though Amithab doesn't speak a word, he commands the movie, with his style. Truly, He is an emperor of Indian Cinema as Rajni Said.

Story, Screenplay, Songs, Background Music, Each and every character, whatever it is, One cant find a flaw in it. But the movie reminds me some other movie which I could nt able to recollect.

If there is something to say it as negative, it would be that off-color jokes, kissing scenes and very long Dance Competition. And, I have to mention that, these negatives were also the positives of the movie.

Lighter Side:
You always had a choice, before taking chance to watch the movie...

Breaking the Silence

Generally, a blogger (like me) fails to blog continuously, because one or more of the following Four reasons. 1. There is nothing happened in my life to blog about..( which is impossible.) 2. There happened lots of things and got busy with the things that came up. 3. No internet connection. 4. good bye to blog For me, Its the second reason that make this blog silent over the last month. Not only that there is slight touch of third reason i.e.I had limited access to internet. It is good in one way, as always quality work is associated with the efficient usage of limited internet rather than slogging all time in internet. Over the last month, though I have been to Chennai and Bangalore over the last two week, I could not meet lots of my friends. As I used to say, In Life, "It happens". And also, There were lots of events, trips and learnings i have come across that definitely needs blogging. Hope I would blog something better in the next blog other than mere update. Let's...

Sultan, The Warrior

Kannu, Ithu Puthusu, Sultan. What ever Rajni Does... that makes a huge talk in Tamil Nadu... and Now, the fire was spreading all over the country and unto the world. Thats shows how his charisma wins the heart of crores of people. While Sivaji running great across theatres, homes, internet... there was large amount of hype and hoopla around his next movie... and yes, Sultan, The warrior would definitely make history in World Cinema. Being a fan..Here goes what I thought negative about the Trailer: - * Rajini - doesn't Appear as Rajni... When you take a close look at him... he appears as Slim Vijayakanth.. * Even in animation, they have used Doop for Rajni. It was clearly visible when he hides his face while swinging the sword. :) * I don’t know why he jumps so unusual to take that sword. Style?? * Soundarya Rajnikanth - is directing the movie... Remember chandramukhi graphics... which was widely appreciated (?*&#&) * Only the name of the movie was ready, other casts were n...

Katrathu Kaiyalavu

There was a Girl, who was Tall & Thin & Fair, her Hair, her Hair, was a color of Ginger An English Rhymes from the Tamil Movie, "Katrathu Tamil", One of the Excellent movie of the year, packed with interesting, informative dialogs and intuitive screenplay. Achan kovil, Xaviers College, Tirunelveli (My Dad graduated there), munusaamy(A tamil Graduate), takes me back and forth in time. Even the dumb story of a dream tiger which is dreaming about the dream desert, adds unknown beauty to the movie. A One line about IT... "If India is a growing, it has to be equivalent in all industry. if only Leg (IT) is growing, it is a Disease (yaanai Kaal), we have to cure it." explains the impact of IT over other industry. Just like real life, this movie has got no logic :) Unlike my earlier blogs on Movies, This blog going to be a sketch of incidents that cames to my mind while watching this movie. Incident 1: Guindy, 04:30 pm, I have just reached the Gandhi Mandapam Bus ...
