When South India was celebrating Sivaji, North India definitely, has got a reason to celebrate. Its none other than Jhoom Barabar Jhoom, a simply superb comedy flick from Yashraj films.
Before I was going to watch movie, I read a sneak peak introduction of the movie and I thought it as another Kabhi Alvida Na Kehna with Abhishek / Amitabh / Yashraj joining together while Bobby Deol replaces Sharukh Khan. But I was completely wrong and the movie proves to be one of the best comedy Film in Bolly wood.
Rikki Thukral (Abhishek Bachchan) and Alvira Khan (Preity Zinta) meets each other in a busy station at London while waiting to receive their respective lover/fiance (Lara Dutta and Bobby Deol) . Their train gets delayed for a two hours unfortunately. They started talking with each other, to kill their time which ends up in finding love between themselves.
Is their love Crazy? Will this new love supersedes their old love? is the pairs going to be mixed up like Kabhi Alvida Na Kehna climax? ..
These question were answered in the next half of the story with the Final Twist which is a Midas Touch to the Story.. Thanks to Amithab.
Though Amithab doesn't speak a word, he commands the movie, with his style. Truly, He is an emperor of Indian Cinema as Rajni Said.
Story, Screenplay, Songs, Background Music, Each and every character, whatever it is, One cant find a flaw in it. But the movie reminds me some other movie which I could nt able to recollect.
If there is something to say it as negative, it would be that off-color jokes, kissing scenes and very long Dance Competition. And, I have to mention that, these negatives were also the positives of the movie.
Lighter Side:
You always had a choice, before taking chance to watch the movie...
